What does the Smart Button feature do and how do I use it?

What does the Smart Button feature do? 

You can program a button and include it in your email so that when members click it, they can:

  • Navigate to an external link
  • Join another group
  • Update their profile information
  • Update their notification preferences
  • Unsubscribe from the group
  • Register Family
  • Link to an existing Signup
  • Access the Manage My Giving page *
  • Pledge to a campaign **
  • Donate to your church easily **

* Available for networks who have enabled Flocknote's online and mobile giving features.

To add a Smart Button: 

Click the pointy finger icon from the toolbar.

From there, a menu will appear with various options for your Smart Button. Select the option that works best for your needs:

Options that have a Gem next to them are features that may be part of Flocknote Complete or Online & Mobile Giving. You can enable those features to have access to those options at any time! Customize Your Button

You can customize your button further with the ability to change:

  1. Font Type
  2. Size of the text/button
  3. Color of your button

Suggested Use Cases for a Smart Button:

  • Have new and existing families register through Flocknote via Family & Visitor Registration
  • Send members to an existing Signup, learn more HERE.
  • Invite members to donate to a fund with just a click, learn more HERE.
  • Have members join other groups on your network for prayer groups, devotionals, reflections etc.
