Working with your Household Database

👀 This help guide is a sneak peek of features coming soon for networks with Flocknote Complete! Stay tuned for more information but in the meantime, feel free to explore the future of using Flocknote as your all-in-one software solution. 🎉

Introducing the Household Database! Check out the video below:

Welcome to your new household view! The Household Database comprises all the households (including single-member households) within your Flocknote network.

Within the Household Database, you can quickly filter for households with matching registration status(es) or for undesignated households (those who don’t have a registration status yet).

A household’s registration status can be selected by the family during the Family & Visitor Registration process or can be assigned by an admin on the family’s profile. The Household status is shared across the household, so editing the registration status of one family member will be reflected on the profile of all family members. This information is then synced up to the diocesan level if applicable.

Please note: The undesignated households include households that are in your network but have not formally registered, have not been assigned a Household status, or have not added a status to their household yet. You can filter for these members and give them a designation that will “lock in” their account.

You can filter these members based on the categories you set up in Family & Visitor Registration and see additional information for their household based on how your network is set up to collect information like birthdates, etc. For example, you can filter for households that have children of a certain age range and send them information on your children’s ministry, youth ministry, etc.

You’ll notice that now you have a better view of the households in your network, as well as some key indicators above their profiles, like whether they are a donor or a religious-ed-only family. You can view all of the members in a household at a glance and click on each household to get more detailed information.
