Why wasn't my note sent to everyone in my group?

You've worked hard to compose a beautiful email or text note, sent it to your group, and you take a peek at the Note Analytics. You notice that it wasn't sent to all members in your group and may be wondering why that happened. Well, you've come to the right place! There are a couple of reasons your note may have not been sent to all members in a group. Read on to learn more!

Reason 1: You didn't check the Delivery option, and you have members opted out of a specific type of communication.

The Delivery feature at the bottom of the Note Composer will tell you how many members will receive the email or text, and how many members are not opted in to receive the respective type of communication for the group. You will want to make sure the option is checked to text or email those who are not opted in to receive the type of communication you're sending.

To learn more about this feature, check out the related articles linked at the bottom of this page.

Reason 2: You may have members who are opted out of both emails and text messages for the group.

You might also have members who are in your group, but have opted out of all types of communication for the group. You can find these members using the Filter and Bulk Action Tool (learn more in the article below!)

Reason 3: Your members may have unverified contact info.

If your members do not have verified contact info or if your member has a "bad" email address, they will not receive your notes. When contact info is verified, you'll see the green checkmark next to a member's email address and phone number. You can learn more about this in the related article linked below.

Reason 4: Your members just joined the party

Last but not least, it's also possible that you had members join your group after the note was sent. In this case, you can always forward them the note, so they don't miss out on your most-important communication! You'll want to forward any notes using the forward feature within Flocknote--more on that in the article below!
