Giving Exports and Reports

This guide walks through features available for those subscribed to Flocknote Complete or our Online Giving Feature, or both!

Flocknote has exportable giving reports available to make tracking your church's donation income, reconciling bank deposits, and double-checking financial records a breeze!

Export Gifts/Donations to a Spreadsheet

If you'd like a printed-out report of your member's donations, you can do so by selecting the Export Icon next to Giving Summary or the title of the fund you have selected. Once you make your selection of the three options below, an Excel spreadsheet will be downloaded to your computer. You'll have 3 options:

Export Giving Summary

This will generate a spreadsheet with a list of your funds, Fund ID (Designation ID), how many donations you received in the period selected, and how much is in that fund:

Export All Gifts

This will generate a spreadsheet that includes the household that donated, their associated envelope number, the amount of their donation, payment method, transaction status, reference number (for checks, etc), any memo included, the fund name, and the fund ID (Designation ID).

Export Combined Gifts

This option will generate a spreadsheet with more detailed information on your donors, including a salutation (if you have that added as a profile field), mailing address, email, phone, envelope number, and the combined total donation amount.

Deposit reports

Deposit Reports are a great way to deep dive into transactions, refunds, or fees that were processed through Flocknote, allowing you to reconcile your giving, stay organized, and keep financial records accurate with ease! To access the deposit reports for your church, open up the Giving page. Then, select Deposit Reports on the far right-hand side. There are two types of reports you can download:

Combined Deposit Reports

The combined deposit report will show you all the deposits made for the period of time selected on the Giving page.

Daily Deposit Reports

These show the deposits made to your bank on a particular day.

Inside a Deposit Report

Each deposit report has several tabs. Each includes helpful information about the monetary donations and payments your church has collected.

  • Funds

This tab will allow you to see the total amount deposited into each fund, as well as all of the fees taken out before the deposit.

  • Transactions

This tab will allow you to see all the individual transactions that make up this deposit, as well as additional information for each transaction, including the person who made them, the fund it went to, and the fees taken out of it.

  • Refunds and Disputes
    • Refund - A refund is when an admin initiates the return of money to a member. There is no additional fee for refunds. The full amount of the transaction will be returned to the member. The church will lose the transaction fees that came with that transaction.
    • Dispute - A dispute is when a user doesn't recognize a charge and they flag it on their end (ever had a fraudulent charge and reported it to your bank? You initiated a dispute!) This results in a $25 fee immediatel,y and the money gets returned to the member. The church can upload evidence to prove the charge is real and, if it's approved, the money will be returned to the church. That $25 charge does NOT get returned even if they win.
  • Deposits -

This fourth tab, found only in a Combined Deposit Report, will comprise a list of all of the deposits (total raised - fees - deposit amount) within the specified time range
