Flocknote Prayer Requests 🙏
Our dream here at Flocknote is for everyone to be more connected to God and His church. What better way to foster and strengthen this connection than through prayer? With our new Prayer Request feature, you can easily collect and track prayer requests from your members using Flocknote. 🙏
Enable Prayer Requests
There are two ways for Super Admins to enable Prayer requests so that intentions can start flowing in!
First, click on the Ministry Tools section at left, then select Prayer Requests. Click Enable Prayer Requests.
Or, Super Admins can enable Prayer Requests within the Contact Settings of the Flocknote network. Locate this by clicking the grey cogwheel at the bottom left-hand side of your page. Then, select Contact Settings from the menu.
Next, select the box next to Enable 'Prayer Requests' feature for network members.
Ask your members for Prayer Requests
Once Prayer Requests are enabled, you can ask for requests within your notes, share a link to a prayer request page on your website, or even create a QR code to share wherever you'd like! Click the Prayer Requests tab on the left-hand side panel to learn more about how to start collecting prayer requests.
A. Smart Button: Send an email with a Prayer Request Smart button. Learn how to set up a Smart Button here.
B. Shareable Link: Copy the link for your prayer request page and post it on your website or social media. When members click your church's unique prayer request link, they'll be brought to this page (see below). There, members can enter their prayer request in seconds!
C. QR Code: Download a QR code to share anywhere; around the church, in your bulletin, etc. The QR code will lead to the same prayer request page shown above.
Keep track of Incoming Prayer Requests
When new prayer requests arrive, you'll see a circle with the number of requests waiting to be prayed for next to the Ministry Tools section header or above Prayer Requests!
After clicking on the Ministry Tools section, click Prayer Requests to see your incoming intentions. The prayer requests will be listed in the center of the page.
You can also set it so that you receive an email each time a prayer request comes in. Click the Receive email notifications for new prayer requests box, and those updates will go right to your email inbox. 👍
Use the Prayer hand 🙏 and heart ❤️ emojis to let other prayer admins know that you saw the request and are praying. (Please note that these emojis do not send a message to the members and are for admin use only.)
Keep track of prayer requests you receive outside of Flocknote
As church leaders, we are asked for prayers all the time! Now you can keep track of all those requests in one place - Flocknote! To add a prayer request that you received outside of Flocknote to the Prayer Request board, click the blue Add a Prayer Request button in the top right-hand corner.
This will allow you to enter a prayer request manually. Simply type the request into the box and hit Add Request. The request will post on the Prayer Requests board, and you are all set.
Who can see Prayer Requests?
Prayer Requests can only be seen by those with Prayer Admin permissions. All Super Admins have prayer admin permissions by default. You can also enable this permission or remove it for any member or admin by opening up the Account tab of their profile and selecting the Allow name to manage prayer requests box.
