How can members edit preferences without creating a login?
One of the amazing things about Flocknote is that your members do not need to create a password or a login to receive notes, OR adjust their contact info and notification preferences.
Did you catch that?
Your members do not need to create a login, remember a password, or download anything to hear from you and connect with your church. Uh.maze.ing. But it gets better--members also do not need a login in order to adjust their notification preferences or update their contact info. Hooray! 🎉
Here's how a member can adjust their contact info and/or notification preferences without creating a login. (Hint: it's easy peasy!)
By clicking my info in the footer of any Flocknote email, the member will be directed to their profile, where they can adjust their name, email address, and phone number.
The first time they click my info, they'll be taken to a Flocknote login page to receive their secure login link. We'll send them a link to log in instantly (via email or text depending on the contact info they provide). The best part? Once they've done this, we'll remember their device so they'll be taken directly to their profile in the future!
↑ If they provide their email address, they'll be sent an email with a linked yellow button. If they provide a phone number, they'll be texted a unique numerical code to enter on the login screen.
To edit their information, they'll simply hover over the email and phone number fields until a pencil icon appears, click on the pencil icon, make any changes, and click save!
A member can adjust their notification preferences by clicking on the Groups icon on the left-hand side of their profile. From there, they can click on the different icons depending on how they'd like to receive notes, comments, or leave a group.
Clicking the unsubscribe button in the footer of a Flocknote email would allow a member to turn off or adjust the notification settings for that group.
Using the Smart Button Feature
