Why did the formatting of my email change after I sent it? Why aren't images displayed?

While extremely rare, your email may look a bit different in a member's inbox from the "preview" version you see before sending out your note. This usually happens for the following reasons:

  • The recipient has Microsoft Outlook
  • The recipient has a setting with their email provider that blocks images from being displayed
  • The recipient has a setting on their browser that blocks images from being displayed

To troubleshoot issues displaying images with your email provider, we recommend contacting them directly as there are many email providers and the settings differ for each one. Usually, if you Google search "display images in (insert your email provider here)", you can find the answer pretty quickly without needing to contact them.

A note about Microsoft Outlook: Now and then, we've seen Outlook change the formatting for their email recipients. We've done the work on our end to make sure your masterpieces are handled with white gloves leaving our servers. However, it appears to be an issue on their end. Should you come across this, we recommend contacting Microsoft directly. The art must be protected! 🎨
