Member Resource: How do I edit my contact info or adjust my preferences without creating a login?

This help guide is for regular members without admin privileges. If you are an admin, feel free to share this with members when needed. 👍

As a regular member, you do not need to create a login, remember a password, or download anything to hear from and connect with your church. Uh.maze.ing. But it gets better-- you also do not need a log in in order to adjust your notification preferences or update your contact info. Easy peasy - read on to learn how this works!

My Info

By clicking my info in the footer of any Flocknote email, you will be directed to your profile, where you can adjust your name, email address, and phone number.

The first time you click my info you'll be taken to a Flocknote login page to receive your secure login link. We'll send you a link to log in instantly (via email or text depending on the contact info you provide). The best part? Once you've done this, we'll remember your device so you'll be taken directly to your profile in the future!

↑ If you provide your email address, you'll be sent an email with a linked yellow button. If you provide your phone number, you'll be texted a unique numerical code to enter on the login screen.

To edit your information, simply hover over to the email and phone number fields until a pencil icon appears, click on the pencil icon, make any changes, and click save!

You can also adjust your notification preferences by clicking on the Groups icon on the left-hand side of your profile. From there, you can click on the different icons depending on how you'd like to receive notes, comments, or if you'd like to leave the group altogether.

What the buttons mean:

Blue = ON. Gray = OFF.

Unsubscribe

Clicking the unsubscribe button in the footer of a Flocknote email would allow you to turn off or adjust the notification settings for the group that email was coming from.

See? We told you it was easy! 😉
